School
FOS
The MPS Friends
of School are an
extremely enthusiastic and motivated group and a very important
part of the school. The FOS endeavours to support the teachers
and school management in developing a strong motivated positive
school community and helps to raise money for extras in the
school that are not covered by Ministry of Education funding.
2008 /09 was an
extremely busy time for fundraising but
our hard work paid off and we managed to build an awesome sand
pit, buy an assortment of sandpit toys, erect a storage shed,
provide fantastic new stage curtains for the hall, buy new Jump
Jam CD's, build fences and a gate for the compost and worm farm
area and purchase new sports uniforms.
We have a number of
fundraising activities planned for the remainder of the year and
with your amazing support we hope extend our playground area
which will benefit many children over the coming years.
